Lockerbie is the first large town north of the Scottish Border and is on the main road and rail routes between Glasgow and Carlisle. Much of the town is built from red sandstone and the town hall stands out with its clock tower. The local ice rink hosts top class curling events and at nearby Dalton Pottery you can paint your own pot to take home. There are various shops to explore within this attractive town.
