The welcoming family-run Ecclefechan Hotel in Dumfries and Galloway, is ideally located close to the M74. This is a listed building from the 1730s, retaining much of its historical charm and features, such as exposed sandstone and wooden lintels.

We have 16 spacious bedrooms, singles, twin, doubles and family rooms; all with en-suite bathrooms, tea and coffee making facilities and a television. We serve a delicious home cooked Scottish breakfast and can also provide evening meals if required. Pets are welcome at the hotel.

Ecclefechan is a picturesque village, which was visited by Robert Burns and is the birthplace of Thomas Carlyle. Local amenities include two general shops, a Post Office, hair and beauty salon and a village park.
