Straven Guest House is an attractive Victorian building, close to the beach in the quiet suburb of Joppa, 6 miles from Edinburgh city centre. There are regular bus services close by. Your hosts Sinead and Chris Watson welcome you to this Scottish Tourist Board 4-Star accredited guest house. There is unrestricted on-street parking and we can provide storage under our canopy for bicycles and motorbikes. We have a strong Eco-friendly ethos and have been awarded the gold standard in The Green Tourism Business Scheme.
Our bedrooms are light, comfortable and always well presented. All have en-suite facilities, flat screen television, USB charging port, free Wifi, beverage tray, hairdryer and radio alarm. In the evening, guests can relax in our lounge area which contains a fridge, drinking water and a coffee machine. In the morning, you have a wide selection of breakfast items.
