Highfield House Bed and Breakfast

Welcome to Highfield House Bed and Breakfast providing country house accommodation in a superb location, away from the city centre, but close to good transport links. This is a traditionally furnished Scottish Manse dating from 1730, providing you a sense of history and Scottish charm, surrounded by its stone walls and standing within 5 acres of grounds. Highfield House has wonderful views of the hills of Fife, the Forth Road Bridges and the Edinburgh skyline.

Highfield has 3 bright and spacious guest bedrooms, a king-size double or twin, each with en-suite facilities or a private bathroom. Rooms come resourced with a TV, radio, Wifi connectivity, hairdryer, electric blanket and facilities for making tea and coffee. Extra bedrooms may be available if needed. In the evening, guests can unwind in our comfortable drawing room with open log fire. In the morning, you will delight in our breakfast, with a Full Scottish (with haggis as an option) or Continental option. We make our own preserves. This is served around our large oak dining table. It may also be possible to have an evening meal by arrangement.

Holyrood Palace, Edinburgh Castle and many other visitor attractions are all within easy reach. We can also arrange outbound trips for touring castles, country houses, palaces, whisky distilleries, hillwalking and fishing.
