Eden Holiday Hideaways

Escape, relax and unwind at Eden Holiday Hideaways, comprising 3 beautiful detached eco-lodges with a Scandinavian-inspired design, wood-fired hot tubs and panoramic views of the Eden and Tweed Valleys, all set on an organic farm near the Scottish Borders town of Kelso. Each is 2-bedroomed, sleeping up to 4 people. The chalets are glass fronted and also have glass doors from each bedroom, making the most of the light and views.

The living space has a comfy corner sofa, a feature wood burner and wall-mounted TV including access to Netflix / Prime and iPlayer. There is also a dining table and chairs. The well-equipped kitchen provides a compact space to prepare meals, including a large fridge-freezer, quiet dishwasher, microwave, electric oven, hob and a coffee grinder (with beans provided!). Locally-made ready meals can be ordered for the freezer if required.

There is a spacious king size bedroom with an armchair and large windows maximising the views. The small second bedroom has twin beds. The shower room has a rain-effect shower and is tiled with travertine, alongside its cosy heated floors and towel rails. Located along the wooden decking area outside is your own wood-fired hot tub, with bubble jets and lighting. There is also an outdoor shower and furniture for outside dining.

From the farm, walk along Eden Water and on to the River Tweed or have a game of tennis on the all-weather court. Kelso has attractions including ancient abbey ruins, Scotland's largest market square and a wealth of independent shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs. It is just over an hour by car to Edinburgh, and Northumberland is close enough that you can enjoy a visit to Hadrian's Wall, Alnwick Castle, Bamburgh Castle and the coast.
