West Highland Hotel is located in the bustling fishing port of Mallaig, just a 5-minute walk from the railway station and ferry port, with panoramic views over to the islands of Skye, Rum and Eigg. We boast our superb Terrace Restaurant and first-class accommodation and service.

The hotel is the perfect location to enjoy a romantic getaway, holiday or base to tour the highlands and islands. There are 40 bedrooms comprising standard, classic, family and superior rooms. Many have a sea or harbour view, with an outlook to the isles. Our new Sunset Suite has its own private terrace where you can enjoy the sunset. Our stunning Bridal Room features a king-size hand carved oak bed which is the ideal choice for a romantic break, special occasion, wedding night or honeymoon, and even boasts a special hanging hook for a wedding dress! We also offer 4 direct-book economy twin rooms located in the lodge beside the hotel.

All of our guest rooms are fully en-suite with bath, shower or both and offer Freeview television, tea and coffee facilities, an internal telephone and hairdryer. A cot can be provided on request. Ironing facilities are also available.
