Courtyard Cottages

Winkston Farm is a small working farm on the outskirts of Peebles. We are only 5 minutes by car from the town, and buses for Edinburgh and the surrounding area pass our driveway at regular intervals throughout the day. Our 3 self-catering cottages have been awarded 4 stars by the Scottish Tourist Board.

Bothy Cottage sleeps 2 people, or 3, with an additional camp bed. Upstairs has a relaxing TV / DVD area with comfy chairs. Downstairs, there are two single beds, a fully-equipped kitchen with cooker, washing machine, fridge and microwave. There is also a shower room and WC downstairs. Also included is secure bike lock-up, a washing area and drying room and an undercover car parking area.

The original byre of Winkston Farm has been beautifully converted to form a further two charming self-catering cottages which have achieved The Scottish Tourist Board award of Access for Residents with Mobility Difficulties. This is luxury accommodation for up to 4 people in each of the cottages. Downstairs, each cottage has an open plan lounge / dining and kitchen area as well as a shower room and WC. The bedroom has zip and link beds, so you can have twin beds or a king-sized bed. From the lounge area, a spiral staircase leads to a gallery and second sleeping area with twin beds or a king-sized bed, again zip and link.
