The Olde Forge Hotel

The Olde Forge Hotel and Restaurant, unsurprisingly once the home of an old forge, still maintains its original open fires and timber beams. The hotel is set in the heart of the Wealden countryside in Magham Down near Hailsham, East Sussex; close to many National Trust properties, historic castles and glorious gardens. Beachy Head and the Seven Sisters are also within easy reach of the hotel. We have our own private car park.

Our restaurant serves traditional English / French cuisine using only the finest ingredients, and wherever possible, locally grown produce. We also cater for all your dietary needs. The Olde Forge has 8 comfortable bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms. The accommodation comprises 6 double rooms and 2 twin rooms. One of our twin bedrooms can become a single king-size room. Our bedrooms have a flat screen television, free Wifi, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryers and heated towel rails. The Olde Forge Hotel is available for you and your guests to reserve as a private venue.
