The Shelleys

Dating back to 1588, The Shelleys is a beautiful Grade II listed property in the historic town of Lewes, offering superb hotel accommodation and dining. We have 19 luxury en-suite boutique rooms, each designed and decorated to reflect our Georgian origins; Standard Doubles, Superior Double / Twin, The Pelham Suite, The Hodgkin Suite and The Earl of Dorset Suite. Suites sleep up to 4 guests.

All rooms are equipped with complimentary tea and coffee-making facilities, mineral water, flat screen televisions and luxurious toiletries. Irons and ironing boards are available upon request, as are laundry, dry cleaning services and bathrobes.

All bedrooms and public areas benefit from complimentary Wifi. We have an English and Continental breakfast menu. An a la carte lunch and dinner menu is available in our award-winning Apostrophe Restaurant or on the brick-paved terrace overlooking the serene gardens. Morning coffee and afternoon tea, drinks and bar lunches are also available throughout the day.
