Merrington Grange Cottages

Merrington Grange Cottages are 2 delightful traditional stone cottages offering self-catering accommodation in a beautiful rural setting. We are located between Bishop Auckland and Newton Aycliffe, near Durham City in County Durham. Located on a working farm surrounded by fields and countryside, it is a tranquil haven away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life!

Both Garth Cottage and Meadow Cottage have been lovingly restored from farm outbuildings to provide excellent facilities and comfortable furnishings for your stay. Both cottages are on ground floor level and have 2 en suite bedrooms (king size room and a twin room). There is a large lounge with beamed ceiling, Freeview TV, DVD and a fully-equipped kitchen with dishwasher washing machine and dryer. Outside is a lawned garden and patio with lovely views.

The cottages can be booked for holiday accommodation or as longer term lets. The nearby village of Middlestone offers local shops and pubs for food and drink. With Durham City and the Yorkshire Dales a short drive away, you are close to lots of exciting attractions and activities.
