Altonlea Lodge

Altonlea Lodge is a beautiful family-run bed and breakfast overlooking the green in the seaside resort of Seaton Carew. Lovingly renovated and in a beautiful listed building with additional annexe, Altonlea provides a peaceful location in this popular town. Owners Olwen, Tony and their son Lee will be on hand to welcome you.

All rooms are decorated to a high standard offering spacious and homely decor. Each has Freeview TV, beverage tray and Wifi, with some having en suite facilities. We also have ground floor rooms with facilitated access from the car park and widened doors for guests with mobility difficulties. There is a lovely garden with pond through our Italian themed Loggia that you are welcome to relax in. A delicious full English breakfast is included with plenty of options to choose from.

Altonlea is only a short stroll from the Blue Flagged beach and many delightful cafes along the seafront. It is only a 5-minute drive to historic Hartlepool with its quay and shops. Slightly further away is the interesting city of Durham with its cathedral and castle.
