The Bay Horse Hotel

The Bay Horse Hotel is an elegant hotel and pub in the Weardale village of Wolsingham. Dating back the 1800s, the building was rebuilt in the 1920s after a fire gutted the original building and it was made to resemble the original Victorian building complete with Veranda and bay windows.

We have a variety of rooms to suit varying budgets and needs, with double, twin and family rooms available. All rooms have en suite facilities with beverage tray. A delicious breakfast is available from a variety of options including our Full Monty and Edggie Veggie Breakfast to our chocolate pancakes. Our restaurant is open for lunch and dinner offering many delicious dishes. Our bar offers a chance to relax and enjoy a drink from our extensive range of beers and spirits.

Wolsingham has a range of local shops and is a stopping point on the historic Weardale Railway. With many glorious walks along the river and surrounding countryside of the North Pennines, we see cyclists and walkers aplenty!
