Islay65

Islay 65 is a traditional stone cottage offering luxurious self-catering accommodation in Port Ellen on the Isle of Islay. Rated with 4-Stars by the Scottish Tourist Board, this 19th century cottage has been sensitively restored to keep the charm of the original beams and oak floors whilst providing contemporary comforts and elegance. There are also amazing views across Loch Leodamais from the property.

The cottage has a beautiful open-plan living area with multifuel stove in a slate hearth, large Freesat TV, multimedia entertainment system, Wifi and dining area set out for 6. There is a fully-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, and washing facilities in the utility room. The master bedroom features a king-sized bed and wash basin. There is also a double bedroom and a bunk bedroom with 2 sets of bunk beds.

Outside is an attractive walled garden with garden furniture where you can relax and enjoy the fresh sea air. There are plenty of eateries and local shops in the village with the beach just across the road. We are also within walking distance of 3 of the 8 whisky distilleries on the island!
