Knap Guest House is an old Victorian town house in the picturesque village of Tarbert overlooking the harbour towards Loch Fyne. Recently refurbished to offer luxurious guest rooms and excellent amenities, you can expect a wonderful stay.

Rated with 4-Stars by the Scottish Tourist Board, our guest rooms have been individually designed to offer a traditional Scottish feel with a twist of Thai culture to represent the relationships between the Scottish clans and Asia. All guest rooms have en suite facilities and also include satellite TV, refreshments and fridge. Our Chieftain Suite is a luxurious room with lavish en suite featuring walk-in shower and private sitting room with leather sofas. We offer a delicious breakfast including a Full Scottish Breakfast or haddock smoked locally.

Knap Guest House is surrounded by many trails and walks. We are only a 10-minute drive from the ferry terminal where you can hop over to the Isle of Islay and visit some of the many whisky distilleries!
