The Royal Oak Ripon

Originally an 18th Century Coaching Inn, The royal Oak has been beautifully and tastefully renovated and is ideally located in the centre of the historic city of Ripon.

We have a choice of family, twin or double rooms, all with en-suite bath or shower. All our bedrooms have recently been upgraded and are modern and well finished with flat screen televisions with freeview and complimentary tea, coffee, water and home made biscuits. We have a firm focus on food, using high quality locally sourced ingredients. Our head chef Jonathan creates fresh tasting dishes for a menu that combines modern exciting cuisine with some ever-popular more traditional and comforting choices.

We are a perfect base for exploring Yorkshire being close to the beautiful spa towns of Harrogate and Knaresborough, the market town and racecourse of Thirsk and not too far from historic York.
