Black Lion Hotel

The Black Lion Hotel is a great place to stay, next to the sea in the picturesque fishing village of New Quay. Follow in the footsteps of the Welsh poet and writer Dylan Thomas who frequented the Black Lion between 1944 and 1945.

We have 9 guest rooms, all decorated in a contemporary style with local art work displayed and elegant en suite facilities. Each comes with free Wifi, TV, iPod dock, hairdryer and hospitality tray. We have double, twin and adjoining rooms available for families, with many having sea views. Relax in our garden with childrens play area and enjoy the views across the harbour and bay. A delicious cooked Welsh breakfast is included in our rates which is served in our dining room. We offer a range of classic pub food throughout the day, all freshly made and using the best local ingredients. We have ample on-site car parking.
