Red Kite Cottage

Red Kite Cottage is a renovated 12th century Cistercian grange farm barn, situated at the head of the Melindwr Valley, approximately 10 miles inland from Aberystwyth. The barn has kept many of its original features such as the beautiful beams, high ceilings and thick stone walls. It boasts wonderful countryside views. The cottage has been awarded 4 stars by Visit Wales.

Red Kite offers a spacious living room with panoramic views down the valley and a log burner (logs are included). There are 3 comfortable bedrooms, a king-sized master bedroom with en suite facilities, and 2 further twin-bedded rooms. There is also a family bathroom. The kitchen has dining for 6 people and is fully equipped.

The outside has a decked area with a 6 person hot tub. For warm summer nights there are barbecue facilities and patio furniture. The secure garden makes this a perfect holiday cottage for those wishing to bring their dog. We provide a welcome pack which includes tea, coffee, milk, butter and preserves.
