Dating from 1535, Maesmawr Hall Hotel is the perfect country house destination for business, leisure or your special occasion or event. This is a beautiful half-timbered house with a rich history. Original features can be seen throughout the main house including the stylish restaurant, cosy bar and panelled meeting room. Set amongst the Powys countryside, 5 miles from Newtown, it is the ideal base from which to explore Mid Wales.

Our 20 individual en suite bedrooms offer varying styles of accommodation, from the original house dating back to 1535 where the rooms have original beams and uneven floors, to the later Victorian wing with its much larger and lighter rooms. The rooms offer free Wifi, a digital television, range of toiletries and complimentary, locally-produced, bottled still water, luxury mattresses and fresh crisp bed linen and fluffy towels. Within the grounds of the hotel, we also have our Coach House rooms. Whilst smaller, the rooms are all en suite and come fully equipped. A superb breakfast is included.
