Refectory Cottage

Welcome to Refectory Cottage, a stunning holiday made from the reclaimed stones of the abbey outside the historic town of Helmsley. Nestled in the grounds of the Rievaulx Abbey, this cottage was once the residence of the abbeys keeper from the early 19th century. Today, it provides excellent self-catering accommodation for families wanting to visit this beautiful part of North Yorkshire.

Decorated to a high standard the cottage has a living room with comfortable suite, TV, DVD and wood burning stove. There is a spacious and fully fitted kitchen with dining area, a family sized bathroom, a double bedroom and a twin bedroom. There is also an enclosed garden with patio and barbeque.

The town has many boutique shops, pubs and restaurants as well as a castle and gardens. There are stately homes, a riding school and golf courses nearby. With the North Yorkshire Moors and coast a short drive away, there is so much to see and do!
