Welcome to Roraima House Bed and Breakfast in Staithes, built in the 1890s by sea captain John Trattles and named after his steamship, the SS Roraima. This Victorian house is at the top end of the village with parking for our guests and an enclosed rear yard where bikes can be securely stored. To the front of the house is an enclosed garden with seating.

The accommodation is spread over 3 floors. The ground floor has an entrance hallway and dining room. The first floor has 2 guest rooms, both with en suites and sea views. On the top floor, there are 2 further rooms, a double and a twin, with a shared bathroom and lounge / kitchen facility. The dining room has an open fire and fully restored sash windows, with comfortable seating, a selection of magazines, books and the local newspaper in a TV-free zone. At breakfast, guests can choose from cereals, fruit juice, fruit, yogurt, freshly baked bread and toast, followed by a cooked Yorkshire breakfast.
