Apple Loft Cottage

Apple Loft Cottage is a beautifully-converted stone barn with vaulted beamed ceilings, offering self-catering accommodation for 2 people. It is attached to the owners B & B, Kilbury Manor, which is a Grade II listed Devon longhouse. Set within 4 acres of gardens which lead down to the River Dart, this is a tranquil location, only a mile from Buckfastleigh, at the edge of Dartmoor National Park.

On the ground floor is a sitting / dining room with seating, fire, TV / DVD player and views over the patio, orchard and gardens. The kitchen is fully-equipped and includes a cooker, hob, microwave, fridge freezer and dishwasher. There is also a shower room. Upstairs, you will find a king-sized bedroom. The cottage has central heating. Bedding, towels and bathrobes are included. Outside, there is parking and a private courtyard.

Buckfastleigh has a supermarket, farm shops, pubs, a restaurant, coffee shop and tearoom. Attractions close to the cottage include Buckfast Abbey, South Devon Railway, Buckfast Butterfly Farm and Otter Sanctuary, and Ashburton Cookery School. Dartmoor National Park comprises a vast landscape of heather-clad moors and rugged tors, hut circles and standing stones, ancient woodlands, clapper bridges, rushing streams and Dartmoor ponies.
