Loch Garten Lodges

Loch Garten Lodges are a series of beautiful recently rennovated wooden lodges on a family-owned holiday site near Boat of Garten available throughout the year. Surrounded by the Cairngorms and an abundance of wildlife, the lodges are well-furnished and we have one 3 bedroomed lodge sleeping 6 guests and the remainder are 2 bedrooms, sleeping up to 4 guests. Each lodge has central heating, well equipped kitchens, a family bathroom and private outdoor decking area from which to enjoy the views. Complimentary toiletries, fresh linen and towels are included along with a welcome pack with tea/coffee and a bottle of wine.

Loch Garden Lodges offer an excellent base in the heart of the Cairngorm National Park from which to explore all that the area has to offer. Boat of Garten has shops and places to eat and drink. Fantastic cycling all around the area both on road bikes and mountain bikes, for walkers Loch Garden sits on the Speyside Way walking path, or the more adventurous there are numerous munros in the Cairngorms to be bagged! There are watersports centres both at Loch Morlich and Loch Insh where you can canoe, paddle board and sail. Strathspey Steam Railway is a 10 mile section which runs between Aviemore, Boat of Garten and Broomhill. Enjoy going back in time on an old fashioned steam train. The Malt Whisky Trail set in speyside and covering 9 whisky locations including the famous Glenlivet and Glenfiddich distilleries. The village also features a golf course, originally designed by James Braid. Built in 1898, it is ranked as one of the top courses in Scotland.

Without even leaving your lodge, it is possible to see a variety of wildlife, including red squirrels, many bird species, including the rare crested tits. Many wildlife enthusiasts and photographers stay in our lodges to photograph the pine martens who visit the decking looking of food. There really is something for everyone here and we look forward to welcoming you soon!
