Brightlycott Cottage

Brightlycott Cottage is a friendly bed and breakfast in a rural setting outside Barnstaple. Located on a small farm with a few woolly and feathery residents, it offers the ideal setting for a relaxing break. Owners Jackie and Tony offer warm welcome and will go out of their way to ensure you have an enjoyable stay.

We have a flexible suite consisting of a double and single room that can be used for families, friends, as a storage area or even as a bedroom for your dog! There is a private bathroom and plenty of refreshments for you to help yourself to during your time here. We will ensure you have a good start to your day by providing a delicious full English breakfast or whatever else you might fancy, to help you start your day!

Barnstable has a variety of shops and restaurants, with fishing and golfing also available. We welcome walkers and cyclists following the Tarka Trail and can provide drying facilities for wet clothes. There is car parking and are happy to arrange pick-ups from the railway or bus station in the town.
