Watermill Cottages

Nestled in a rural area of Devon along the Gara Valley are the 18th century Watermill Cottages, offering excellent self-catering holiday homes. Surrounded by 20 acres of our working organic farm, each of our cottages has been sensitively refurbished from the former mill, barns and workers’ homes. We are family-friendly and welcome dogs.

Each of our 5 cottages have their original stone walls and wooden beams adding to their individual charm, with electricity derived from our water turbine. Our cottages vary in size from 2 to 3 bedrooms with Crownwheel cottage accommodating up to 8 guests. Each is equipped with fully fitted kitchens, washing machines, wood burners and central heating.

There is no TV or mobile phone reception here, so you are free from the distractions of the outside world. With plenty of wildlife to watch and walks around the farm you will feel very relaxed! Guests can help with feeding the animals and we have an on-site shop with our own produce on sale. Slapton is 2-and-a-half miles away with pubs and a nature reserve.
