The Rams Head Inn

The Rams Head Inn is a welcoming hotel, restaurant and bar in the picturesque village of Dolton. This former 17th century coaching inn had a major refurbishment and relaunch when Michelin-awarded French chef Nicholas Boucher and his partner Vanessa took over ownership. Guests will experience great service, excellent cuisine and stylish guest rooms.

We have 8 unique rooms; twin, double, family, ground floor and dog friendly rooms. Each have their own en suite bathrooms, Wifi, hairdryer and hospitality tray. A delicious breakfast is included in our room rates where you can choose from a variety of options, including a Full English, Eggs Florentine or a Continental-style breakfast.

Our restaurant is open throughout the day offering a range of classic English dishes from our seasonal menu. We also have a children’s menu. Enjoy a relaxing drink in the bar or garden. Dolton is a village in an excellent location to explore Devon. The coastline, Dartmoor and Exmoor National Parks are within easy reach.
