The Monks Retreat Inn

The Monks Retreat Inn in Broadhempston is charming country inn dating back to 1450, offering fine food, locally produced ales and comfortable guest rooms. Run by Hayley and Dougal and a friendly team of staff, we are family and dog friendly and have plenty of car parking.

Choose from double and twin en suite rooms, which can have an extra bed added for children. A delicious breakfast is included in our room rates. The restaurant is open throughout the day serving a range of traditional English dishes and homemade desserts. There are also a range of ‘specials’.

The Inn is only 4 miles from the old town of Totnes with its castle, museums and oldie worldie shops. It is also very well placed to explore the many beaches and seaside towns along the Devonshire coast, as well as the landscapes of Dartmoor.
