The Limes

The Limes is a hotel in Swanage, offering welcoming and friendly accommodation for your stay in Dorset. Family-run by Sarah and Jason, and conveniently located in the town, we have a private car park and lock-up facilities for bicycles and equipment. Families, groups and dogs are very welcome. We are the proud recipients of a Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence due to consistently high independent reviews.

There are twin, double and family en-suite rooms at The Limes, including some with sea views. We also have 3 single rooms, 1 has an ensuite and the others have a private bathroom. Rooms have a Freeview TV, Wifi and a hospitality tray for making hot drinks. We now offer room only accommodation as there is such a great selection of fine cafe's, bars and eateries right on our doorstep with the closest being just a 3 minute walk! There are many with spectacular views such as The 1859 Pier Cafe & Bistro on the pier with views across the bay and the harbour.

Swanage is a friendly and popular Victorian seaside town set at the heart of Purbeck and built around a picturesque bay. Have fun on the clean and safe blue flag beach and explore the Isle of Purbeck, which is strictly a peninsula and not an island, with its world-famous Jurassic Coast and superb beaches, cliffs and rolling countryside with interesting flora, fauna and wildlife. From exciting boat trips to a ride on a steam railway, there is no better base for your holiday!
