Westwood House

Westwood House is an elegant Georgian townhouse ideally located in Dorchester. This is a family-run 4-Star guest house where owners Tom and Demelza Stevens offer first-class accommodation with impeccable guest service and attention to detail. The guest house is centrally located in a main thoroughfare in Dorchester, and close to many of the towns attractions. Although the Westwood does not have its own car park, there is pay and display very closeby, and free overnight parking in a public car park about 3 minutes walk away.

The guest house has 7 en-suite bedrooms over several floors resourced with Freeview TV, free Wifi connectivity, hospitality tray for making hot beverages and a hairdryer. The decor is tasteful, and we provide fresh milk in the fridge for the in-room coffee machines, as well as homemade shortbread! Our breakfasts are served in a lovely conservatory where a wide selection of cooked breakfasts are offered including smoked haddock, salmon, Eggs Benedict, Full English and American pancakes. We take great pride in providing excellent food, both in quality and in quantity, evident in our Breakfast Award rating.

Dorchester is filled with history and plenty of things to do, from walks along the river, Borough Gardens, to the many great museums in the town. Brewery Square is the place to be for its eateries, bars and cinemas and where the kids can play in the fountains! Thomas Hardy is one of the towns most famous sons and you will find many references to him throughout Dorchester, including his cottage birthplace and Victorian townhouse, both of which are now National Trust properties.
