Barleywood

Barleywood is a 19th century house offering an elegant place to stay in North Somerset. Near the village of Wrington and surrounded by the Mendip Hills, this is an idyllic setting for a short break or holiday. With 9 bedrooms and 11 acres of landscaped gardens and woodland, we are also a favourite venue for weddings, special events and corporate functions.

Our guest bedrooms are stylish and luxurious, with many original features carefully preserved. Each room has garden views and its own en suite bathroom and there is a spacious Bridal Suite with 4-poster bed and lavish bathroom. You will also find a beautiful dining room with wood panelling and original decorative ceiling that can be set up to cater for special events.

We can assist with the planning of events; recommending caterers, bar suppliers, florists, cakes and photographers for weddings. Whatever occasion you are hosting, we offer bespoke service from the planning to the running of the event. Please see our website for more information.
