Stonebank Self Catering

The Annexe at Stonebank is a charming self-catering Grade II-listed Dorset cottage dating from the 1500s, located in Chickerell. This is a Visit England 4-star accredited self-catering property with a double and a twin bedroom. The lounge is tastefully decorated and furnished with a 3-piece suite and electric fire for those chillier evenings, and the dining area is suitable for up to 4 people. Patio doors lead out onto the patio and superb south-facing garden. There is Wifi connectivity, a TV, DVD and CD player as well as an iPod dock for guest use. The kitchen is fully equipped with cooker, fridge, freezer and microwave and utensils. Tea, coffee, sugar and fresh milk is provided as well as delicious home-made cake! The cupboards also have oils and spices. Linen, including towels are provided, and there are washing facilities available. The bathroom has a bath, shower, WC and basin. The Annexe is non-smoking, has off-road parking. One small pet is allowed.

Stonebank is in Chickerell, only 3 miles from the traditional English seaside resort of Weymouth. Chickerell is in West Dorset and one of the countys villages. To the south is the Isle of Portland. Chesil Beach runs alongside the town, part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Jurassic Coast. Bennetts Water Gardens, next to Chickerell Downs Woodland Trust woods is a popular visitor attraction.
