Westerclose House Cottages comprise 4 individual self-catering cottages, a spacious apartment and pre-booked B&B. Westerclose lies just above the pretty village of Withypool in the heart of Exmoor National Park. With panoramic views over the village and across the River Barle valley stretching to open moorland, we welcome individuals, family groups, dogs and horses (we provide excellent stables and paddocks for those wishing to bring their own horse on an Exmoor riding holiday).

Our cottages are fully equipped and each has a TV, DVD player, wood burning stove, WiFi, fully equipped kitchen, private garden and car parking. Stable Cottage is our smallest cottage sleeping 2 with an ensuite double bedroom; Pennycombe Cottage is our largest sleeping up to 6 with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and has a large garden. Heather View apartment has spectacular views over the moor; it has a double bedroom and spacious living accommodation with the flexibility of a further 2 bedrooms (double and twin ensuites). All accommodation can be booked separately or together to cater for larger groups.

Exmoor is a wonderful and beautiful area and Westerclose is in the heart of it, with numerous walks, bridleways and cycle paths direct from the door. Tarr Steps clapper bridge is a 4 mile walk from Westerclose and The Two Moors Way passes by our garden. Withypool has an excellent shop, tearoom and village pub just 300 yards’ walk down the lane. We are within a 30 minute drive of the spectacular North Devon coast with its sandy beaches and impressive cliffs. Take a look at our website at www.westerclose.co.uk for further information and contact details. We look forward to welcoming you to Westerclose.
