The Crown Hotel is the oldest inn in Dorset, dating from the 1300s and offering views over the River Stour Meadows. We are a Visit England 4-Star Silver Award accredited inn situated in the Georgian market town of Blandford Forum; within walking distance of the famous Badger brewery with its award-winning beers such as Fursty Ferret, Firkin Fox and Tanglefoot! There is ample car parking and a lovely garden at The Crown. We also have a private function room for special occasions. Dogs are welcome in the bar, specified guest rooms and outside areas.

There are 27 en-suite guest rooms at The Crown. Choose from twin, double and family rooms, all of which have TV, radio and tea and coffee-making facilities. We also have some luxury rooms available and room service facilities. Breakfast encompasses a great selection of buffet options including fruit, bread, yoghurts and juices, followed by a freshly-cooked Full English. Simply the perfect way to start your Dorset day!

Blandford has busy market days on Thursdays and Saturdays with monthly farmers markets. The forum that gives the town its name is the open market place surrounded by the Parish Church of St Peter and St Paul, the Great Fire Monument, Corn Exchange and The Greyhound and Red Lion buildings. See the many other Georgian buildings, the Cavalcade of Costume Museum, the exhibitions in Blandford Museum or visit the Royal Signals Museum for exhibitions on the ENIGMA machine, spies, code breaking and secret agents.
