Gorse Farm offers 2 beautiful guest bedrooms; a twin / double with en-suite and a twin / double with private bathroom. Both have super king-size beds, large bathrooms and have their own private staircase and landing. Breakfast is served in our conservatory in the warmer months and in the farmhouse kitchen with a roaring fire during chillier evenings. We offer a Continental-style or Full English breakfast option. In the evening, guests have a snug area with a TV, radio, games and books to enjoy.

Sturminster Newton lies on the River Stour, surrounded by picturesque countryside, about 9 miles from Blandford Forum. Historically, the town lay in the heart of Dorset dairying and cheese-making country and this heritage is celebrated with the wonderful Sturminster Newton Cheese Festival each September. This little market town was also home to author Thomas Hardy and Victorian poet William Barnes. The B and B is ideally located to explore the countryside walking and cycling trails or head for the coast to Poole, only 23 miles away, where the famous South-West Coastal Path begins.
