Fraoch Lodge

Froach Lodge offers a comfortable place to stay in the Cairngorms village of Boat of Garten. With flexible accommodation, we welcome many outdoors enthusiasts, particularly walkers, cyclists and those interested in winter sports. The hostel is 5-Star Rated by the Scottish Tourist Board.

There is a double room and 4 twin rooms (2 of which have en suite facilities). The entire upstairs or annexe can be exclusively booked for groups or families if required. Guests are welcome to use the private lounge with log fire, Wifi and self-catering kitchen. There is also a drying room, secure bike storage, bike wash and car parking. Heating is provided by our Biomass boiler and we can provide meals and a breakfast if required.

There is a cafe, post office and shop in the village and you can pick up the steam train to Aviemore. There is also fishing along the river and the Lodge is only 20 minutes away from the ski slopes. We can happily offer route advice and up-to-date weather forecasts for your day ahead.
