Lazy Duck

Hidden away in the Cairngorms National Park, near the Forest Village of Nethy Bridge, is The Lazy Duck. This eco-friendly Forest Park offers a variety of self-catering holiday homes within 6 acres of grounds. Awarded a Gold Award by Visit Scotland for Green Tourism and a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence, guests are guaranteed an enjoyable visit.

There is the cosy Duck’s Nest Cabin for 2 on the waters edge surrounded by wildlife, with a wood burning stove, outside bush shower with hot water and composting toilet. There is also Wifi and electricity so you can enjoy modern comforts. Our other 2 eco-cabins are our Woodman’s Hut and Lambing Bothy. The 4-Star rated Hut Hostel has 8 cabin-style beds and covered garden with log fired barbeque.

All guests are welcome to use the outdoor log fired hot tub and explore the extensive grounds. You can find plenty of secluded areas where you can enjoy peace and quiet or catch up on some reading. There are local shops and a hotel restaurant in the village if you get hungry.
