Porch House is a charming Elizabethan town House offering luxurious guest rooms in the historic town of Northallerton. Dating back to the 1584, this is the oldest house in the town, with Charles I once being one of its guests. Guests enjoy fine hospitality from owners Charles and Christine.

Our 3 guest rooms are elegantly furnished. There is a beautiful 4-poster room, a king-sized bedroom with Oriental-inspired decor as well as a ground floor twin bedroom. All have en suite facilities, Freeview TV, Wifi connectivity, a seating area and well-stocked beverage tray. In the morning, choose from options including a full Yorkshire breakfast, smoked salmon or an omelette. We also serve organic bread and our own homemade preserves.

Porch House has car parking and the railway station, shops, pubs and restaurants are all within walking distance. Northallerton is a bustling market town and a perfect base for exploring both the Yorkshire Dales and the North York Moors National Parks.
