Howgill Lodge is the perfect choice for your next Yorkshire Dales getaway, offering accommodation with outstanding views across the Wharfe Valley, about 7 miles north-east of the market town of Skipton. We have an excellent level campsite and luxurious, self-catering timber lodges for 6 people with a private hot tub.

Built into the hillside, our campsite is terraced with dry stone walls providing level pitches for caravans, motorhomes, campervans and tents, some with electric hook-up and all with far reaching countryside views. Well-maintained amenities are provided, including hot showers, laundry facilities and washing-up sinks.

Our luxury timber self-catering lodges sleep up to 6 people in 2 bedrooms and feature a spacious and well-equipped open plan kitchen, living area with a log burner and a shower room. Outside, the raised timber deck has seating, a log-fired hot tub which can stay warm for up to 14 hours, a dining set and fire pit with pizza oven.

There is an on-site shop selling essentials and a coffee shop serving hot drinks and warm pastries. Within a scenic 20-minute walk, the local village of Appletreewick has 2 traditional pubs which serve food. Howgill Lodge is surrounded by an abundance of walking and cycling trails and is within a designated Dark Sky Park for wonderful stargazing.
