Old Oak Cottages

Old Oak Cottages comprise 8 luxurious self-catering cottages with excellent facilities including a swimming pool, on a 400-acre-farm near Little Thirkleby. Sensitively restored from former barn buildings and stores, you will find characterful exposed wooden beams and vaulted ceilings coupled with excellent modern facilities. With at least a 4-Star Gold rating from Visit England, guests are guaranteed a memorable stay.

Each cottage is named after the local wildlife. We have cosy Wren Cottage for 2 guests up the spacious 5-Star Gold Award rated Pheasant Cottage for 7 guests. All cottages are equipped with Wifi, Freeview TV, central heating, dishwashers, washer dryers and their own outside eating areas. Dogs are allowed in some. Guests have access to the indoor heated swimming pool, spa bath, sauna, tennis court and children’s playground. Explore the grounds and observe the diverse wildlife around the duck pond. The North Yorkshire Moors National Park, Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and historical town of Thirsk are close by, providing great days out.
