Abbey View House Cottages

Abbey View House Cottages are 3 beautifully renovated former barns offering self-catering accommodation in the small village of High Normanby, in a rural setting along the North Yorkshire and Cleveland Heritage Coastline. These cottages are 2 miles from Robin Hood’s Bay, 4 miles from Whitby and provide an ideal base for touring the area.

Dating back to the 1800s, The Goatshed, The Cottage and The Barn retain their charming old stone walls and exposed wooden beams, adding lots of character. All offer contemporary and stylish single-storey accommodation for couples, with a double bedroom. The cottages have central heating, TV and a DVD player. A small well-behaved pet is welcome in all.

There is a friendly pub just a mile from the cottages. The charming and scenic fishing village of Robin Hood Bay’s is situated at the eastern end of the 190-mile Coast-to-Coast Walk and is also on the Cleveland Way. Whitby is a popular seaside town with cobbled streets leading to a bustling harbour. This rugged coastline is filled with dramatic cliffs and pretty villages, with lots to see and do.
