Chainbridge Riverside Cottages

Chainbridge Riverside Retreats offers the perfect place to unwind and relax in our selection of self-catering holiday cottages along the River Esk. Located near the village of Ruswarp, in a quiet and scenic location, with Whitby only 2 miles away, we are also close to the landscapes of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park.

There are 7 riverside cottages to choose from, varying from cosy retreats for 2 to family cottages for up to 6 guests. All are equipped with HDTVs, DVD players, Wifi, fully-equipped kitchens and outside seating areas, as well as car parking. Our Boat Loft is a luxurious adults-only apartment for 2 with a private hot tub outside. Some of our cottages are single storey and some allow dogs.

There is an on-site café, miniature railway and Mini Monsterz playground. Salmon and sea trout fishing is available from the site or you can hire a boat along the river. Ruswarp village centre has a train station, grocery shop, butcher and a country pub just a short walk down the road. Whitby is a popular seaside town and has many great attractions and amenities.
