Castle Howard Station

This is a beautiful self-catering apartment for 2 guests within a Grade II listed building near Welburn village. Situated on the York to Scarborough mainline, it is actually a peaceful location with the River Derwent flowing close by. Platform 1 has a 4-Star Gold Award rating.

The old Waiting Room has been transformed to a cosy sitting room with sofas, Sky TV, Wifi and a dining area. There is a modern kitchen which is fully-equipped and has range cooker, dishwasher and microwave. The comfortable double bedroom has en suite facilities. Outside, there is a patio area, car parking and secure bike storage.

There is a wildlife garden and pond adjacent to the station. Dog are welcome at the accommodation. We are close to Dutch Barn which provides doggy day care if you want to leave your companion in safe hands whilst you go out for the day. The palace and gardens at Castle Howard is 3 miles away or you can visit the ruins of Kirkham Priory. York is only 13 miles away, providing a great day out.
