Wood Farm

For peaceful accommodation close to York, Wood Farm Bed and Breakfast is situated near the village of Shipton by Beningbrough. This Victorian-era farmhouse has welcoming hosts, comfortable guest rooms, a superb farmhouse breakfast and a beautiful garden, all on a family-owned arable and beef working farm.

All our bedrooms are decorated to a high standard with designer fabrics and a mix of antique and modern furnishings. The Garden Suite has a beautiful period fireplace and The Rose Suite boasts views across the open fields. Both rooms can be set up with twin or king-sized beds. Our Poppy Suite has double aspect windows with an elegant 4-poster bed. All rooms have en suite facilities featuring walk in showers, as well as an LCD TV/DVD player, Wifi, iPod dock, safe and hospitality tray. You can enjoy a full farmhouse breakfast in the morning, cooked on our Aga stove, with our own homemade preserves on the side.

The farm is situated on the Cycle 65 Route and the Way of the Roses and is ideal for visiting the historic city of York just 5 miles away, the North York Moors, Yorkshire Dales and many National Trust Properties including Beningbrough Hall which is 2 miles away.
