Speke's Valley Cottages

Speke’s Valley Cottages are 2 beautiful stone cottages offering well-appointed self-catering facilities in the pretty hamlet of Milford, approximately 3 miles south-west of Hartland. Located in a rural setting near the coast, the properties can be booked separately or together for larger groups. Dogs are also allowed in each. These cottages are 4-Star rated by Visit England.

Aunt Nell’s Cottage is a beautiful property for 4 people, with an open plan living area featuring slate floors, underfloor heating, a TV, DVD player, dining area and well-equipped kitchenette. There is a bathroom with a spa bath and separate shower, a king-sized bedroom and another bedroom which can be set up with twin beds or a king-sized bed. Speke’s Retreat is a spacious property for 10 to 12 with all the modern amenities, 5 en suite bedrooms and a sun terrace.

The Horse Place is located opposite the cottages, ideal for students attending clinics or private riding lessons. The heritage coastal path and Speke’s Mill Mouth waterfall is less than a mile’s walk away, offering spectacular scenery and excellent opportunities for walking and sight-seeing.
