Chatfield

Chatfield is a grand Edwardian house offering bed and breakfast accommodation with car parking, in the riverside village of Exton in East Devon. Just 5 minutes from the M5 motorway, within walking distance of the train station and 4 miles away from Exmouth, this B & B is perfectly located as a stopover or base for touring the area.

Our rooms offer a home-from-home feel, with private bathrooms, hairdryer, free Wifi, TV, hospitality tray and either twin or double beds. Relax in the guest lounge / dining room or garden in the evening and feast on a full Devonshire breakfast in the morning. We proudly use locally-produced ingredients and serve our own homemade jams. Special diets are happily accommodated.

Exton is on the east side of the stunning Exe Estuary. There is a village pub which serves food and a coffee shop in the next village. Enjoy excellent walks and cycling along the river to Topsham or Exmouth and try out some watersports or wildlife-spotting. A short drive will take you to the famous Jurassic Coast World Heritage area.
