The Packhorse Inn

A warm welcome awaits travellers at The Packhorse Inn, a traditional pub with good food and guest rooms in the Devonshire village of South Brent within Dartmoor National Park. As well as a friendly atmosphere, you can expect a very comfortable stay in beautifully furnished rooms, with a hearty breakfast in the morning.

Choose a twin, double or 4-poster bedroom. Each has en suite facilities, TV, radio alarm clock and refreshment tray. Breakfast is served in our Stables Tea Rooms, including a full Pack Horse Breakfast with all the trimmings, a vegetarian breakfast or lighter bacon baguette. We also serve homemade lunches and Devon Cream Teas. If you prefer, you can enjoy a menu of pub classics from our bar menu and grill in the main inn and a very well-stocked bar.

Ideally located on the southern fringes of Dartmoor and South Devon AONB for outdoors enthusiasts, The Packhorse in South Brent village is also conveniently situated to the A38 Devon Expressway road which travels onwards to Plymouth and Cornwall for those touring the area.
