The Hotel Balmoral

The Hotel Balmoral is a grand Victorian Villa surrounded by beautiful gardens in the conservation area of Meadfoot in Torquay. With a restaurant, friendly bar, well-appointed bedrooms and parking, guests are guaranteed an enjoyable stay. Meadfoot Beach is a short stroll away and the hotel is only 10 minutes’ walk from the town centre.

We have a range of guest bedrooms to cater for all tastes and requirements, from our cosy compact rooms, stylish premium rooms, accessible ground floor rooms to ones that are family-sized. Some have sea views. All rooms have their own en suite facilities, Freeview TV, fast Wifi, telephone, hairdryer and hospitality tray.

Our restaurant is open for breakfast and evening meals, including 5-course fine dining. All our dishes are freshly made using the best of local ingredients and our chefs happily cater for special dietary requirements. The hotel can provide extras, including fresh flowers or champagne by arrangement. Guests also receive reduced rates at the Hesketh Health Club.
