Eastside Farm Cottages

Eastside Farm Cottages offer excellent self-catering holiday homes situated on the edge of the Pentland Hills near Penicuik. In a secluded location surrounded by rolling hills, we are perfect for walkers, wildlife watchers or people who appreciate the outdoors. Mentioned in Sawday’s Special Places to Stay, guests enjoy a peaceful and relaxing visit.

The 4 cottages have been sensitively converted from former farm buildings. Westside Woodshed accommodates couples with its own hot tub outside. The studio-style Stable Cottage has a double bed, seating and wood burning stove all in one room. Steading Cottage sleeps 4 with a central winding staircase leading up to double and twin bedrooms. Byre Cottage sleeps 2 or 4, with the living area upstairs featuring a sofa bed, plus there is an en suite twin room downstairs.

All the cottages offer contemporary furnishings with free Wifi, fully equipped kitchens, log burning stoves, Freesat TV and a welcome tray with tea and fresh scones. Dogs are welcome and there is plenty of car parking on-site. Our cottages can be booked together to provide accommodation for up to 12 guests; perfect for groups or family reunions.
