Blacksmiths Cottage Country Guest House

Blacksmith Cottage Country Guest House is a former stables converted into bed and breakfast accommodation in the village of Kilham, near Driffield in the Yorkshire Wolds. Dating back 300 years, this historical building retains many original features such as its beautiful beamed ceilings, coupled with a range of contemporary comforts, to ensure guests have a wonderful stay.

There are twin and double rooms, with our ground floor room having direct access to the garden from French doors. The guest bedrooms are equipped with en suite facilities, a television and beverage tray. You can enjoy a full English breakfast, prepared using the best of local ingredients and served in our pleasant dining room. There is on-site parking and guests are welcome to sit out on the patio or explore the gardens.

Kilham has a fish and chip shop, a post office, village shops, pubs and a village pond. All Saints is a Norman church with some interesting carvings in the walls of its tower. The doorway is adorned with exquisite chevron mouldings from the 17th century. The Wolds part of the Yorkshire countryside is not-to-be-missed, with its glorious, gently undulating hills and miles of paths and trails for sightseeing, walking and cycling.
