Kinlandlee is a beautiful country estate offering self-catering holiday cottages in the heart of the Northumberland National Park near Morpeth. Dating back to the 12th century and originally owned by the monks of Newminster Abbey, it has undergone various transformations over the years including a stint as a shooting lodge. Today, our guests enjoy a quiet and relaxing countryside stay.

Listed in Sawday’s Special Places with a minimum 4-star rating from Visit England, our 4 cottages have all been sensitively refurbished from former cottages and barns. All are family and dog-friendly and offer plenty of walks and cycling around the estate. Each cottage is equipped with LPG central heating, a cosy wood burning stove and electric derived from solar and wind power to reduce the carbon footprint.

Chaffinch Cottage, Leyland Barn, and The Old Barn can sleep 4 and Dipper Cottage can sleep 6 guests. With fishing, golfing and climbing available we are also a designated Dark Sky Discovery Site offering brilliant views of the constellations on cloud-free nights. Our guests enjoy a welcome luxury basket to help you settle in and we can also arrange for a local grocery delivery prior to your arrival. Please see our website for a full description of the accommodation and facilities.
