Old School House

The Old School House is a beautiful traditional stone cottage nestled in the forests and moorland of the Northumberland National Park near Byrness village. Offering comfortable self-catering accommodation for 4 people plus pets, we offer a secluded hideaway for families or friends. The Pennine Way passes right past the door so it is also perfect for walkers.

Charming beamed ceilings and stone walls provide a homely and character-filled ambience. There is a cosy sitting room with log burning stove, Freeview TV and DVD player; a farmhouse-style kitchen with a Rayburn oven, modern oven, microwave and washer/dryer; a recently fitted shower room downstairs and a double and twin bedroom built in the eaves. There is a garden at the front and a lawned area at the back of the property, with car parking on the driveway and a covered area for bicycles.
